“Only the living can praise you as I do today. Each generation tells of your faithfulness to the next.” Isaiah 38:19

The vision of Netivah is to see young men and women in Israel come to a saving knowledge of Yeshua the Messiah — that they might genuinely know His love, become like Him and serve Him.

“We achieve this by helping equip, strengthen and support the maturing Messianic/Christian community in Israel. Our mission is to challenge the congregations and increase awareness about the importance of youth work and ministry to soldiers.”

Netivah consistently facilitates various activities and invests in opportunities to reach out to youth. They offer teaching seminars for young adults and congregational leaders; host national youth conferences and regional youth events; engage in activities such as hiking and camping trips; and provide relevant conferences for believing soldiers in the IDF.

The leadership staff and volunteer team at Netivah represent various congregations and demographics but their heart and vision is aligned towards a common goal:

To strategically reach Jewish and Arab youth throughout Israel during the vulnerable yet strategic years of their youth.

Their ministry focus always seeks to maintain a strong connection to local congregations and the team consistently encourages the youth to invest in their local community and kehila (congregation). From one generation to the next:

We all have the capacity and the responsibility to sow into future generations.

Statistics show that many young adults who have been raised in believing homes struggle the most during the teen years and many even abandon their faith completely for one reason or another. This is often the season where youth come face-to-face with their personal convictions and decision-making process as they enter adulthood. The added stress of compulsory military service in Israel (women serve 2 years, men serve 3+ years) can derail a young person’s faith if they are not truly grounded in community with a strong support system to help them navigate the challenges and social pressures.

“We pray that the seeds of the Gospel and encouragement that we give to soldiers will grow in good healthy soil. Join us in praying for all the soldiers serving who are challenged in their faith daily to “take up [their] cross and follow Him.”

Netivah targets these precious years in the lives of the youth with strong conviction and ample grace. Their approach is to intentionally invest in the youth throughout this vulnerable season, providing support, mentoring, friendship, community, prayer and solid instruction in the Word of God.

This strategy addresses the gamut of experiences, topics, needs and questions that young adults will inevitably face during this season. From pre-military spiritual training and conferences, to respite retreats, to small group discipleship and team-building activities – every aspect of Netivah’s ministry seeks to build up the youth from the inside out, that their faith might be solid and steadfast in the Rock of Ages.

“Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD himself, is the Rock eternal.” Isaiah 26:4

When the ecosystem of faith is stronger and more consistent than the arrows of doubt and fear, youth rise up to be godly leaders for the next generation. This is the heart and mission of Netivah.

Join us this week as we pray for Netivah:

  • For open doors of influence into the lives of many youth and soldiers throughout Israel.
  • For solid volunteers to invest in the youth and spend valuable time mentoring and discipling them.
  • For the young men and women that recently participated in our conference times, that the Word of God might take root and flourish in each of them.
  • For the staff and leadership of Netivah to have the Lord’s wisdom and strategy for reaching the youth.
  • For new partners and sponsors to sow generously into the work of Netivah – that the conferences and training times might be fully funded.
